The Department of Islamic Religious Affairs of Pahang (JAIP) organized the Inaugural Scientific Discussion Program 2026 Series 4 on 25 October 2026 (14 Jamadilawal 1448) at the UTC Kuantan compound, aiming to strengthen Islamic understanding among the community.
Under the theme “Masjid Imarah, Masyarakat Berkah”, the program was inaugurated by YH Dato’ Haji Abdul Zaki bin Md. Zain, Deputy Director of JAIP. Two invited panelists, Ustaz Mohd Hafidz bin Muhamad Suhaile (Imam 1, Tengku Ampuan Afzan Mosque, Kuantan) and Ustaz Mohd Lokman bin Ahmad (Assistant Officer, Halal Management Division, JAIP), discussed the role of mosques as places of worship, community unifiers, and key institutions for building a prosperous society.
The discussion highlighted the importance of continuous mosque development to reinforce the relationship between the community and religious institutions. Series 4/2026 is the final series for the year, reflecting JAIP’s ongoing commitment to disseminating religious knowledge and enhancing Islamic practice in daily life.
