Alhamdulillah, all praise and gratitude to Allah S.W.T., and peace and blessings upon our noble Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. By His will and guidance, the Pahang Islamic Religious Department (JAIP), established in 1926, reaches 100 years of age in 2026 — a historic milestone marking a century of JAIP service to religion, race and nation.
As we are aware, the rapid advancement of information and communication technology (ICT) in this century has had a great impact on the development of organisational management systems, both domestically and globally. In this context, the ability of an organisation to benefit from ICT advancements depends on its capacity to adapt to the changes taking place.
In facing the era of globalisation and narrowing the digital divide, we must empower ourselves by providing a wide range of useful information to carry out the core functions and roles of the organisation. Therefore, JAIP is committed to ensuring that the management and administration of Islamic affairs are carried out with full trust and wisdom, in line with its image as a respected Islamic agency. The adoption and use of ICT have now become a key necessity for JAIP staff in streamlining the government service delivery system so that it is more efficient, effective and responsive to current changes.
This Official Portal is a very important communication channel for providing services and disseminating information to users. Being accessible anywhere and at any time, it allows information to reach everyone without the limits of time and location. I hope that this portal will continue to provide accurate and up-to-date information to meet the needs not only of civil servants but of the public as a whole.
In conjunction with JAIP celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, I would like to extend my heartiest congratulations and appreciation to all JAIP staff for their dedication and commitment throughout this century-long journey, including the effort in developing this Official Portal. I welcome everyone visiting this portal and appreciate any constructive feedback and responses from all parties, to help us carry out our duties and responsibilities in ensuring the best quality of service for our mutual benefit.
