- Strengthening the application approval process in a transparent and professional manner
- Improving the assurance and quality of Malaysian Halal certification & Pahang State Slaughter Accreditation (Tauliah Sembelihan)
- Strengthening the halal certification policy of the State of Pahang
- Increasing understanding and awareness among industry players
- Managing applications for and the issuance of JAIP halal certificates
- Conducting inspections and audits of halal food premises
- Coordinating livestock slaughter in accordance with Islamic syariah
- Collaborating with JAKIM on matters relating to halal certification
