The Department of Islamic Religion of Pahang (JAIP) congratulates Masjid Tengku Mahkota Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah, Temerloh for receiving the Impactful Mosque Development Award, and Masjid At-Taqwa, Kampung Awah, Maran for receiving the Community-Friendly Mosque Award. Both mosques were recognised in the National Mosque Awards 2026/1448, held in conjunction with the Nusantara Mosque Convention.
This achievement reflects the continuous commitment to strengthen the role of mosques not only as places of worship but also as centres for community development, knowledge dissemination and the reinforcement of silaturahim ties. JAIP hopes the recognition will serve as a catalyst for ongoing efforts to empower mosque development, support the community and enliven the spread of Islam in the State of Pahang Darul Makmur.
