Temerloh, 18 October 2026 – The 28th Haul ceremony commemorating the Ulama figures of Kampung Kuala Tekal was held at Masjid Ribat Baalawi Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah, Kampung Kuala Tekal, Temerloh, Pahang.
The ceremony was chaired by YH Tok Muda Dato’ Haji Ahmad Khirrizal bin Ab Rahman, Director of the Department of Islamic Religion of Pahang (JAIP), together with a line-up of scholars, teachers and local residents.
The programme began with a Maulid recitation and qasidah performance, followed by talks from Kiyai Amir Hamzah, Maulana Dr. Juhari bin Muhammad Ali, Datuk Syeikh Hafiz bin Selamat Al-Jenderami, Habib Ali Zaenal Abidin Al-Hamid, Sahibus Samahah the Mufti of Pahang, Dato’ Dr. Asmadi bin Mohamed Naim and Habib Abdullah bin Abdul Qader Al-Habsyi.
A women’s study session was delivered by Ustazah Sharifah Hafsah and Ustazah Asma’ Harun to deepen religious knowledge among female participants.
The highlight was the Haul lecture by Professor Emeritus Dato’ Dr. Sayyid Muhammad Aqiel bin Ali Al-Mahdaly, emphasizing the struggle and scholarly legacy of the ulama.
